Questions
We are here to answer whatever questions you might have about the service. We have already answered some Frequently Asked Questions for you, but there’s always room to expand.

Talk To Us
If you have a question that we have not yet covered, just ask us.

Q: How do I sign up?
A: Just head HERE.

Q; What kind of phone do I have?
A: Again, the Sign Up will help you figure that out. It’s HERE.

Q: I've upgraded my handset. How do I get Daily Downtime for my new phone?
A: Edit your details and we'll send out a message to your new handset. You do that HERE. You can also update any other piece of Sign Up info you gave us from the same page.

Q: How do I setup a shortcut to Daily Downtime on my handset?
A: See our guides for illustrated help in doing this:
    1. Nokia Series 40
    2. Sony Ericsson

Q: Why is my phone not supported?
A: Well there are a number of reasons why not. Chances are you either have an obscure phone, or one that is impossible to put the service onto in a decent fashion (like the Samsung Blush or those funny Nokia pen phones). Check your contract/bank balance/daddy’s wallet and get a new handset. However, chances are we do support your phone (we support most of them). Check again HERE.

Q: Can others discover my phone number if I sign up?
A: Heavens to Betsy, no! We keep your number secret and safe. No-one gets to see that, especially advertisers.

Q: Will I get spam messages?
A: Nope, not a one. No spam messages. None of those ‘service’ messages that send your bill through the roof. This service is clean.

Q: Will this service clog up my phone?
A: No it won’t. Installing Daily Downtime will not affect your phone’s performance at all. The service is small and perfectly formed. If the Sign Up says you can handle it (find it HERE) then you can handle it.

Q: Is this service free?
A: Let’s be clear: the service is 100% free. Depending on your phone contract you might have to pay data charges to pull the service from DD Towers into your phone. There’s not much we can do about that at the moment, but we’re working on it.

Q: Can I subscribe to Daily Downtime without the adverts?
A: Watch this space.

Q: Will you contact me after I’ve cancelled?
A: No, but we’ll miss you... :-)
